Its Time To Delete...

Alright guys & girls, I'm not one to "whore" myself out to a certain product, but this is one I use almost everyday, or at least when I need to delete stuff. So check it out when you delete something and it goes into the Recycle Bin (Trash - MAC), then you click "empty recycle bin" and you think its gone, sure it looks that way but actually the file still remains on your machine it just waits hours, days and sometimes even weeks to be overwritten by something else. Until then, it's right there, for anyone who wants to come and have a look at it; either online hacker using Trojans and Mal-ware to do "back door" hacks or someone physically using your machine. Just think maybe you delete some cookies from the web, they were personal, containing bits of your passwords or even your BANK ACCOUNT numbers!

Whether it's old documents, e-mail messages or Internet favorites, anyone with moderate technical ability can retrieve them in just a minute or two.
